The wand jet is always positioned above the ceramic and behind a protective flap on every TOTO WASHLET® to ensure maximum hygiene: WASHLET® GL 2.0 with side connections is an ideal starter shower toilet, offering all of the familiar features as well as added comfort and hygiene. 

The electricity and water connections are found on the side of this model. The advantage: This makes it easy to retrofit existing TOTO toilets with this shower toilet model as long as there is an electrical outlet nearby. Toilets that are compatible with WASHLET® GL 2.0 with side connections include MH ( CW162Y), NC (CW763X and CW762Y) and ES (CW797).

WASHLET® GL 2.0 with side connections is equipped with many features, just like all other WASHLET® models. People can enjoy intimate cleansing with a gentle, precise stream of water and choose from three different types of sprays: two for the rear intimate area (rear and rear soft) and one for the front (front cleansing). These features can also be adapted to people's individual preferences. It's possible to adjust the position, pressure and temperature of the water as well as the seat temperature as desired – and save these personal settings for up to two people. You can easily use WASHLET® and all features with the supplied remote control.

WASHLET® GL also offers many comfort features to keep you feeling good with every use. You can activate a dryer after cleansing, and a filter system eliminates unpleasant odours. In addition to the warm water spray, the heated seat provides comforting warmth – especially beneficial in cold weather months.  

This model also ensures a high level of hygiene and cleanliness: The so-called PREMIST feature sprays the ceramic toilet bowl with a fine mist of water before and after use, making it more difficult for dirt and waste to stick. The seat ring and wand jet are also made of a dirt-repellent silicone-based material. Standard on all TOTO WASHLET® models is the placement of the wand jet, which is always above the ceramic toilet bowl and behind a protective flap – keeping it from coming into contact with dirt or faeces.

If WASHLET® GL 2.0 isn't used for an extended period of time, it automatically switches to energy saver mode to further reduce the little electricity it requires for operation.
